The best part about the Canary Islands was feeling like we didn't have to go, go, go or see, see, see. There were down times to just be. A far cry from our typical European travel adventures. We loved swimming, sitting, reading, napping, being low key, and letting our hair curl! Connor is still very much on her Pooh kick! Here Piglet, Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger line up in a train game.We were very lucky our room was right on the water and opened to a grassy green area. Here we had a private nook to play, nap and run around.Every night as the sun set at H10 Rubicon Palace the children gathered in the theatre. There they sang songs and danced til they could dance no more. I was flabbergasted that Connor waltzed right into the middle of it all with no fear. She was by far one of the youngest - but she could dance and boogey with the best of them! And so begins a "Where's Waldo?" series of photos of Connor as the life of the dance party. See if you can spot our little blondie dancing the night away!No stage fright for Connor. She was right up front leading the way...And if not up front then she was right in the center like in this photo where all the kids are shouting the "Hokey Pokey" to her! (the Spanish version of Hokey Pokey involves a little more than 'shakin it all about'!)Connor was a little star. Kids - no matter the age, nationality or language spoken - love to have fun in a spotlight.
