BFFs, Brady and Connor

One of the most difficult parts of leaving Europe will be leaving new friends. The expat life is a lonely one without deep friendships to help you through the ups and downs of living an ocean away. I feel very fortunate to have made some lifelong pals during our 18 months abroad. Connor too has also been blessed with friends.

Connor was only one when we moved. She had not a clue what a friend was. She does now. And boy Brady is one of the best! While we were at Rabbit Hill these two were terrific playmates. Brady is nine months older than Connor. Which means anything Brady can do, Connor thinks it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We look forward to returning to the USA to reunite with friends old and new. But we sure are going to miss Brady!I snapped these shots as we were packing and cleaning up at Rabbit Hill. Brady and Connor just laid on the floor and played and played.Click here for full album photos of our Rabbit Hill fun!

I get teary eyed just thinking about our last few weeks here without you. I keep hoping that you'll return from an extended trip, and we can play together. Then we can leave on the exact same flight to the US!

They are so sweet, and I am sad for them to miss each other! What fun to have all this photo-documentation. Such sweet pictures of the two of them. :)
