I thought I was going to convince Kirk to write this post, but since it has been a couple months I am just going to go ahead and fill in the gaps.
Before we left Kirk made sure he experienced some of the "guy" activities on his Europe-as-an-Expat Bucket List. He and Tom made trips to Westvleteren for an afternoon au revoir to Trappist Beers, to Antwerp for an international Dave Matthews Band concert, and also to Amsterdam for a "football" match. As you probably know "football" really means soccer in Europe. And my goodness it is like a sports religion....
It must have been odd getting to cheer on the USA on foreign soil.
The Dutch were all decked in their traditional orange Queens' Crowns.
