Castle Howard

Castle Howard, near Yorkshire England, helped round out our tour of major British abodes. Not too shabby! The site of the British TV series, Brideshead Revisited, Castle Howard was a great film set with expansive grounds ripe and ready to tell a story. The china cabinet in the first room was larger than any I have ever seen.It was a homey castle, as cozy as you could expect while still being elegant and over-the-top.The main foyer entrance was remarkable, with the principle painting seemingly aglow way up top...
We let loose in the "yard" letting Connor run, run, run out her energy. (As if that is possible!)
Our little flower amongst the flowers!Click here for full album of our time in Northern Wales and Northern England
