A Sixth Sense

I declare - it is amazing! Connor has a sixth sense. She wakes up EVERY MORNING the second her Dad walks out the door for work - usually around 7 AM. But it really doesn't matter if it is early or late or even what time she got to bed the night before. I even have asked Kirk to start walking down the stairs instead of taking the nearby elevator thinking the mechanical noises may be contributing. But no, I have come to count on the "Daddy?" wake up as soon as I help silently close the door behind Kirk and I go in to snuggle my baby and tell her that her Daddy has gone to work to support our family. She is definitely a Daddy's Girl!
