Mother May I?

Connor cracks me up. She has the manipulation down pat. Now our challenge is to stay in control and not be manipulated by her cuteness. She has moved from plain old, "please" to "May I have" - or even more difficult to resist, "May I please have..."

Perhaps the funniest part is that she can be having a full on tantrum or whine session and I tell her, "You don't get anything by fussing." She will pull it together for the moment just enough to get her request out in the "May I please" manner in a sugary sweet tone and then she can just as quickly revert back. Especially if the answer is "no!"

Oh me. Parenting a toddler full time is fun!
