I see this photo and a flash forward to my life with teenage Connor comes rushing to me!
Connor loves to talk on her play phone. She will have entire imaginary conversations. She usually pops the phone up on her shoulder and ear and calls out "HI LIN-LIN!" "HI CARA!" "HI POPPA!" Then she proceeds to carry on one side of the conversation - keep in mind there really isn't anyone on the other end of the phone!!! She just babbles away and I can't help but to wonder what she is hearing back in her mind. This is a particularly funny practice since when we really are talking on the REAL phone to Lin-Lin/Cara/Poppa, Connor clams up, looks at the phone very puzzled, and doesn't utter a word!
